Creamy mashed potatoes

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 800 gr potatoes
  • 25 gr butter
  • 50 ml milk
  • nutmeg
  • salt and black pepper

Method

  1. cook the potatoes in a large pan of water for 15 mins or until soft
  2. drain well before adding butter and milk to the pan
  3. mash until smooth
  4. add salt, sprinkle a bit of nutmeg over and grind in some black pepper
