Little waffles

20 waffles


  • 100 g unsalted butter
  • 200 g all purpose flour
  • 150 g golden brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract


  1. in a large bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until creamy, beat in the vanilla extract and egg
  2. sieve the flour, salt and baking powder and add gradually into the bowl, stir well
  3. make a sausage and leave this overnight in the fridge before baking
  4. preheat your waffle iron depending on your brand
  5. place small mounds of the mixture in the waffle iron for 2-3 mins
  6. remove to a wire rack to cool
