Pasta Pesto, an Italian classic

Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 40 g pine nuts
  • freshly shopped basil
  • 4-5 tbsp olive oil
  • 25 g parmesan
  • 25 g pecorino
  • salt

Method

  1. Pound the pesto ingredients to a paste in a food processor
  2. Cook the pasta. Drain, return to the pan with the pesto and stir over a gentle heat for 2 mins
  3. serve sprinkled with grated parmesan and pecorino
